ad space available

11.03.2015 By: Eliza, MiniBury Founder

Did you see that new box on our side bar? {hint, hint} It looks like this:

Screen Shot 2015-10-27 at 12.51.15 PMIn the next month, you’ll notice a few small changes taking place on this site. Actually, they are major changes for me, but small changes for you! Most notably, you’ll see banner and sidebar ads and sponsored content occasionally. I can assure you that all ads and posts will be tailored to fit the mission of this site. You won’t be seeing random Proctor and Gamble ads or Amazon links! Rather you’ll see ads for local business that are dedicated to helping women, families and our community and content provided by local experts. If you’d like to know more about why this change is happening, or find out how your business can help, read on.

MiniBury grew out of my frustration with the lack of reliable, centralized information about family friendly events, activities, classes, etc. For the past three years, I’ve happily dedicated time and energy curating, expanding and building MiniBury into a community wide resource center for parents, grandparents, caregivers and educators. MiniBury deliveries information about our community to our community where ever they might be. Both business and area residents lean on MiniBury to help promote, market and organize their classes, events, fundraisers, business ventures and/or weekend plans. I’ve worked hard to expand my network and as a result, you – the reader – trust what I have to say and rely on the accuracy of the information provided, which is wonderful! I want to continue to make MiniBury your goto spot for reliable, accurate information, but that takes quite a lot of time; time which is very, very precious to me – family time. In order to continue working on this site (and maintaining some kind of sanity at home), I’ve decided to open up the website to ad sponsorship. Rest assured, this is not a decision that was made lightly; I plan to protect the integrity of MiniBury as a community resource and continue to work toward making your life a bit easier and more enjoyable.

Eliza, MiniBury Founder

Hello, I’m Eliza. I founded MiniBury in 2012 because I had a hunch that I wasn't the only parent in Addison County missing fun family friendly events. I love the challenge of finding and sharing information about our community to other parents.
