Once again, The Better Middlebury Partnership and the Town of Middlebury bring an outstanding Halloween event for kids of all ages and adults to the town of Middlebury!
Rain or Shine.
Hay bales, festive games, and costumes will once again decorate the town green on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26 for the 7th Annual Middlebury Spooktacular. The green will be alive with music, dancing, costumes, and games for all ages! Festivities will kick off at 1:00pm and will conclude with a children’s trick or treat parade along Main Street lead by the legendary Spooktacular Witch!
The children’s Main Street trick or treat sidewalk parade will leave the green at 2:30pm. Accompanied by parents and Spooktacular volunteers, the procession will cross to the Post Office and continue along Main Street to Cannon Park, where the parade will cross and go back up the street to the town green. Happy Valley Orchard will be on hand selling their delicious cider and doughnuts and Monument Farms Dairy will be serving their tasty chocolate milk throughout the event!
Start planning your costume and get your candy bags ready because, according to Sara Stone, the Good Witch of Ceremonies, “Being treated like a princess has never been more satisfying than at this magical event!! I even get to wear glitter!” Be sure to visit and dance with her at the Gazebo!
The event is being sponsored by the Better Middlebury Partnership, with help from our Sustaining Partners in the community: Addison Independent, Casella, Edgewater Gallery, Marble Works Partnership, Middlebury College, National Bank of Middlebury, Langrock Sperry & Wool, LLP and the Town of Middlebury.
The Better Middlebury Partnership is a group of area businesses and individuals dedicated to promoting business and community in downtown Middlebury.
