Are you planning to ski or snowboard this year? The Middlebury Snow Bowl opens December 9. And it will look a bit different this year. One change: The Snow Bowl ski shop is hosting scheduled fittings for folks who want to lease equipment. The first is this Thursday at the college’s Kirk Alumni Center (at the golf course).
Here’s the scoop from a recent Snow Bowl email:
Fittings will be held at the Middlebury College Kirk Alumni Center located at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course 217 Golf Course Road Middlebury, VT 05753 beginning Thursday December 3rd.
Masks are required at all times. Hand sanitizer will be provided at the entrance please sterilize your hands upon entry into the building.
Fittings are scheduled 20 minutes apart to allow for cleaning and venting. Please arrive 5 minutes before your fitting time and wait in the lobby to be asked to enter the main room by the ski technicians.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our staff and customers as safe as possible.
Credit card/debit card payments only will be accepted at time of fitting.
Please note that all VT state Covid-19 guidelines are in place. If you are coming from out of state all required Vermont quarantine procedures must be observed.

If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms please call us 802-443-7603 to let us know and reschedule a fitting after you are cleared:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches

- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
